Activation Software

The Alertus Activation Software is a simple and easy to use frontend control software for dispatching emergency notifications to Alert Beacons, digital signage systems, and desktop computers.  The interface was designed in a web brower format to provide intuititve navigation like a webpage, yet it is not dependent on internet connections.

The main menu provides ready access to configuration settings and reports for authorized system administrators (as opposed to dispatchers).  Alerts can be dispatched rapidly using an "Emergency Alert Dispatch", using a preplanned "Scenario Alert Dispatch", and using a "Customized Alert Dispatch."  The screenshot below illustrates the look and feel of the Custom Alert Dispatch.  Although the Alertus system is feature rich, option settings are neatly presented in the configuration settings to minimize the alert dispatcher's activation time.

Once an alert is dispatched, it is relayed to the Alertus Server Software, which is typically on-premise but available as hosted option.

As illustrated above, the process for dispatching alerts is quick and simple.  First, customize or select a pre-scripted message. Second, select the dissemination area. Third, designate audible and visual signaling attributes and duration.

An optional GIS map interface is available in the software to facilitate the selection of the alert target area.

Alertus provides an API for technical integration at no charge to qualified partners who would like to seamlessly activate Alertus endpoints such as Alert Beacons from their software.
