Solution Overview

The Alertus solution is an affordable in-building emergency notification system which is multi-modal and expandable.  Core capabilities include Alert Beacons, LED marquees, text-to-speech (TTS) interfaces to public address (PA) speakers / fire alarm audio / outdoor giant voice, digital signage & cable TV override, and computer desktop alerting.

Alertus Server Architecture

The server software forms the foundation of the Alertus system.  This software can be installed on a computer located on premise or hosted remotely.  Most customers prefer an on premise solution which affords increased reliability since it is dedicated exclusively to their organization and does not depend on external internet connectivity.  Additionally data is retained on site and existing infrastructure can be leveraged often reducing cost.

Activation Methods

The Alertus system can be activated from a variety of sources including:

  • The Alertus Activation Interface - Easy to use dispatch interface designed to operate in a graphical web browser, but not dependent on internet connections.
  • Third Party Mass Notification Software Services - Already use an existing mass notification system for SMS and automated dialing?  Chances are we have already integrated with them, allowing alertus devices to be activated through your existing interface.
  • CAP 1.1 alert messages
  • Automated alert feeds
