Digital Signage Override Software

Many organizations employ digital signage and cable TV systems to transmit communications in public and high occupancy areas.  Alertus' Digital Signage Override software transforms these devices into intelligent emergency alerting appliances.  Most LCD screen, LED marquees and digital display media systems are supported.  Additionally, the application supports playback of alert tones and voice messages on systems with audio output capabilities.

When activated, the software replaces the content of the digital signage with a customized alert message.  The software is typically configured to display your organization's logo in the top left and bottom right with the system name displayed prominently in the center.  Red text flashes "Alert!" in the center of the screen while a message scrolls communicating the nature of the emergency and how to appropriately respond.

As with other features of the Alertus system, the Digital Signage Override Software ties in seamlessly with wall-mounted Alert Beacons to ensure a unified emergency response.  Displays can be activated individually and zoned geographically and categorically if desired.
