George Economas

Sr. Director at Johns Hopkins Hospital

Mr. Economas manages over 800 security officers and support staff, and is responsible for planning and implementing new technologies and the development and deployment strategies to combat criminal activity in and around Johns Hopkins Hospital System's institutions.

He is also currently a member of multiple committees to include; Emergency Management Committee, Health Safety and the Environment Committee, Controlled Substance Sub Committee, Risk Assessment Team, and Quality Improvement. Professional Organizations: International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety Directors American Society of Industrial Security

Mr. Economas holds Master’s Degree in Business from Johns Hopkins University.
