Why Desktop Alerting?

Desktop alerting is a popular mass notification and internal communication tool. Easy-to-use and fast to deploy, desktop alerting offers many options for organizations that need to reach many people over a large area or multiple locations. Desktop alerting is widely used as a key tool in emergency mass notification, but is flexible enough for day-to-day communications, ensuring you get the most out of your investment.

Emergency Notification

Desktop alerts are a powerful tool for emergency notification. Full-screen alerts are intrusive, guaranteeing to get the computer user’s attention. Alertus Desktop can utilize the computer’s text-to-speech capabilities to ensure your alerts are heard and not just seen.

Use partial screen pop up alerts to communicate important information to your audience.

Internal communication

Desktop alerting software is also useful for routine communication or non-emergency notification. Use a partial screen pop-up or the ticker mode to send important messages you don’t want to get lost in inboxes or easily ignored. Alertus offers user-profiles and templates to make internal communication easy and accessible.
