Samuel Bogan, Emergency Communications Coordinator, University of Colorado, Boulder
Samuel Bogan is the Emergency Communications Coordinator for the University of Colorado Boulder. He is the program manager for CU Boulder Alerts, the multi-channel alerting system used to send emergency notifications and timely warnings to the campus community. He manages several projects aimed at improving safety on the campus and serves as the technical subject matter expert when preparing for planned and unplanned events like football games, concerts, flash floods, and other hazards that pose a threat to the campus.
Before working at CU Boulder, Mr. Bogan was a business continuity planner and resiliency consultant for federal agencies surrounding the Washington DC area. He served as a communications officer in the US Army and is a graduate from James Madison University.

Ben Garcia, Director of Customer Service and Operations Support, University of Texas at San Antonio, Office of Information Technology
Ben Garcia serves as a technical liaison between UTSA campuses and OIT in support of enterprise applications, infrastructure, end-point user technologies, mobile and collaboration technologies, and end user support of new technology projects. Mr. Garcia also serves on the Leadership UTSA team designed to develop the knowledge and skills of faculty and staff to build future leaders serving UTSA and higher education.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Garcia earned his Bachelor's Degree in Government from the University of Notre Dame. He has over 24 years of experience working in both corporate and higher education institutions.
Ryan Kelly, Regional Account Manager, Alertus Technologies
Ryan Kelly is a Regional Account Manager for Alertus Technologies. He received his B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Maryland in 2013. He has since spent over 2 years overseeing sales for all Higher Education institutions and Boarding Schools in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah for Alertus. He is determined to educate and equip these facilities with the best in mass notification and emergency preparedness tools to keep their students and staff safe.
