keynote presentation: Transition to a new mass notification provider and lessons learned
Lt. Dave Oslund - Emergency Management Division, MSU Police Department
Lt. Dave Oslund brings over 20 years of experience as a police officer with him as he discusses the challenges and lessons learned from implementing a new mass notification system. Lt. Oslund served eight years with the sheriff's department before transitioning to MSU where he served in the Special Event and Emergency Management unit. In February 2018, Lt. Oslund was promoted to his current position and is responsible for the management of MSU's emergency alert system. Responsibilities include training the supervisors who are responsible for deploying the alert messages and the operation of the system.
Eric Murphy - Regional Account Manager, Alertus Technologies
Eric Murphy is a Regional Account Manager for the Central US territory for the Higher Education Sales team at Alertus Technologies. In this role he is responsible for developing new business and supporting customers from purchase through implementation of their new mass notification system. Mr. Murphy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Economics from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
