for an In-Person Emergency Notification System (ENS) Workshop

This Emergency Notification System Planning Workshop will provide organizations with planning resources to develop a holistic, comprehensive, and robust ENS program.


Throughout this workshop, participants will:

  • Learn the importance of ENS planning and how organizations can integrate their emergency response approach with their Alertus system. 

  • Participate in facilitated activities and discussions to create and customize elements of an ENS plan. 

  • Explore real-world scenarios, case studies, and demonstrations highlighting different Alertus System designs, solutions, and configurations. 

  • Engage and collaborate with your peers from various industries and verticals to gain insight into customer use cases, lessons learned, and best practices.  

  • Receive customizable emergency planning templates and resources to assist in your ENS plan development.

Participants will receive: 

  • 7 ENS planning worksheets to help facilitate conversation and dialogue with your internal stakeholders to gather information to build an ENS plan

  • 5 ENS planning templates to help you build a customized ENS plan or guide for your organization

  • 34 pre-scripted message templates that can be uploaded to your Alertus Console

  • Direct engagement with industry experts from Alertus with more than 50 collective years of experience. 

  • Collaboration and networking time with peers for in-depth discussions on solution design to create more efficient and effective ENS tools to save lives in an emergency. 


WORKSHOP REGISTRATION

Included in the workshop:

  • Participants will be provided a planning packet containing 5 ENS planning templates, 34 pre-scripted message templates, and 7 ENS planning worksheets.

  • Engage directly with industry experts from Alertus with 50 years of experience for an in-depth perspective on solution design for a more efficient and effective system.    

  • Peer-to-peer engagement. 

  • Participants will be provided continental breakfasts, catered lunches, snacks, and refreshments throughout the workshop.    

  • A networking happy hour.    


Event Facilitators

Gil Zavlodaver, Director of Professional Services

Gil has over eleven years of experience in emergency management and preparedness in the public and private sectors. His extensive expertise has allowed him to provide educational training in mitigation, response, recovery, plan development, and grant administration.

Ben Brewer, Director of Mass Notification Solutions, Alertus Technologies

Dr. Ben Brewer is the Director of Mass Notification System Solutions for Alertus. In this role, he consults with clients on crisis and risk communications. He oversees client-focused solution design to meet customer needs and enhance system configuration and implementation outcomes. Ben has 38 years of experience in emergency and crisis management, continuity of operations, and information security.
