Its WiFi connectivity to the Alertus Notification Solution Software eliminates the need for conventional wired communication and external power sources, providing an easy-to-install and long-lasting, battery-operated solution.
WiFi Alert Activation Module Features
Seamless WiFi Connectivity: Connects to the Alertus Server via WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz, eliminating the need for wired installation and reducing costs associated with running communication cables (e.g., CAT6).
Battery Powered: Single, low-cost, long-life CR123A battery, easily sourced and field replaceable.
Dual Contact Closure Support: Accommodates up to two contact closures, providing flexible alert notification options. Designed to integrate seamlessly with existing Alertus Activation Buttons; fits completely inside the button housing.
Versatile Switch Compatibility: Supports both Normally Closed and Normally Open switches; latching and momentary contact closure are supported. The system can detect if a panic button remains in the “pressed” state and notify the customer accordingly.
Facility Integration: Extend Notification Reach
The device streamlines alert notifications by integrating building sensors and duress buttons directly into existing WiFi networks. This eliminates the need for additional devices and wiring, offering two contact closures for flexible alerts and reducing installation costs.
