Jason Volk, CEO & founder, Alertus Technologies
In 2001, a tornado swept through the University of Maryland, College Park, campus, killing two students and causing millions of dollars in damage to school property. A student at the time, Jason realized the dire need for a better emergency notification solution. In 2002, he began his quest to revolutionize the industry of mass emergency notification and develop life-saving emergency solutions for people and organizations all over the world by founding Alertus Technologies.
Drew Kidder, Sr. Director of Client services, Alertus Technologies
Drew Kidder brings 20 years of management and leadership experience to Alertus. As the Sr. Director of Client Services, he specializes in quality assessment and process controls. Drew holds a B.S.E.E in Electrical & Computer Engineering, as well as a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. In addition, he is CQA Certified.
Brian White, Technical Support Analyst, Alertus Technologies
As a Technical Support Analyst and leader of the Training Team at Alertus, Brian White is responsible for troubleshooting technical issues for customers and training internal staff on the use of the system. Brian graduated from the University of Baltimore and taught in inner city Baltimore for four years before joining Alertus.
Ebenezer Gabriels, Mobile Applications Developer, Alertus Technologies
As a Mobile Application Developer at Alertus, Ebenezer is responsible for building and enhancing the mobile landscape, including the Alertus Recipient and Activator mobile apps. He is an experienced full-stack developer, both in the Asian and U.S. technology spaces, with a strong grasp of big data technologies. He graduated from the University of Greenwich in England with a Bachelor of Science in Computing and has over 14 years of experience working in finance, defense, education, and insurance industries.
